Oil & Gas

The Middle East contains the world’s most valuable Oil and Gas companies. With enough pipelines to stretch halfway around the globe, and the world’s biggest inspection and maintenance budget, such companies are beginning to derive enormous benefits from the deployment of Robotics Centre’s unmanned offerings.

Robotics Centre has provided many of these companies with their first small drones, trained their personnel, and worked with them to establish the procedures to bring unmanned systems into the heart of their operations.  With tens of thousands of oil storage tanks and hundreds of flare stacks to monitor, the introduction of drone-based inspection has dramatically increased data capture & worker safety while also fundamentally reducing costs.

Unmanned systems that do industrial inspection by day are ideal for security duties by night.  They can also be immediately tasked off their normal duties to respond to a security incident or industrial accident.  Robotics Centre has securely integrated drone data into existing IT networks so that real-time data can be shared across the network as needed.

Working with Data Science partners, Robotics Centre is actively developing AI-based solutions to automate the inspection process (e.g. rust/corrosion detection) and for remote security applications.  Once fully deployed, companies will be able to anticipate failure before it occurs.
