Charles Barlow

Charles has flown drones, operated underwater systems, and driven ground robots in the snows of Canada, the jungles of Guatemala and the vast deserts of Arabia.

He has helped large companies and governments to roll out unmanned systems programs and to make the data they produce truly useful.

Before Robotics Centre, Charles spent many years with Canada’s Department of National Defence as a military officer and, later, as a civilian. He ran the Afghanistan Intelligence Response Team, was DND’s senior secondee to the Integrated Threat Assessment Centre, and served in Bosnia, Israel, Lebanon & Afghanistan.
