Kukri Modifications

Kukri 1300 Core

A 13-inch FPV drone platform built around a multi-layer carbon fiber sandwich frame with an integrated system board, supplied in a compact flat-pack format.
The lightweight yet rigid frame combines two solid carbon fiber plates with a foam core, providing high structural strength and improved resistance to vibration. All mounting points are precision pre-cut, while the frame is assembled using nylon cable ties. Motors, the video transmitter (VTX), and other components can be installed without soldering and require only basic tools.
The Core configuration includes the airframe and all necessary mechanical components, giving operators the flexibility to select and install their preferred cameras, communication systems, and mission-specific accessories. As electronic warfare and counter-UAS technologies evolve, this modular architecture allows the platform to be rapidly reconfigured in response to emerging threats, helps reduce vulnerability to jamming, and supports different camera systems tailored to specific operational requirements.

The Right to Repair

You bought it — it's yours.

We fully support the principles commonly associated with the "Right to Repair." While our drones are primarily designed as one-way effector systems—meaning field repair and extended maintenance are less critical—we take the principle of true ownership seriously. To that end, we are committed to the following

01
Flexibility

The Kukri family of drones is engineered to accommodate a broad range of user-selected third-party components and payloads. End users are free to configure, adapt, or modify the platform to meet their operational needs.

02
Independence

Users receive full access to CAD models, electrical pinouts, and other technical data, enabling them to alter or extend both hardware and software without requiring our involvement.

03
Interoperability

Users may integrate the system with other platforms or communication architectures at their sole discretion.

04
Sustainable Design

Our systems are built for long-term storage, straightforward transport, and future upgrades, ensuring they remain useful and adaptable over time.

Built for War Stocks

The Kukri family of drones was built with military logistics top of mind

01
Easy to move, easy to store

A standard 2'x2'x1' cardboard box holds 60 Kukri 13" drone kits. These are non-dangerous goods and can be stored long-term in non-climate-controlled environments.

02
Built to last

We baked in all of the parts of an FPV that rarely change: the body and the core electronics, and we made them fully NDAA compliant and sourced 100% from non-adversary countries. When it's time to assemble the drone, the end user adds the latest components for their specific mission: radio or fibre optic cable, cameras, VTX, batteries, props & motors, and payload. Via the system's USB-C port, any desired software update can be made easily. These systems can be stored for years then assembled into the most up-to-date FPV.

03
Easy to modify

If a new technology presents itself, we can build and ship new additional parts to support the fleet, or the end-user can do it themselves, or they can have a third-party do it for them.
